Young people who have struggled to find employment have been offered\u00a0a life changing opportunity to turn their lives around, thanks to their local football club.<\/strong><\/p>\n Blackpool FC Community Trust\u00a0are one of many EFL club trusts\u00a0offering youngsters the chance to gain invaluable work experience\u00a0on the traineeship programme.<\/p>\n The course, aimed at people aged\u00a016-23, has been made to offer\u00a0those who are currently not in education, employment or training a stepping stone back into further education.<\/p>\n Trainees on the programme get to\u00a0spend three days a week based at their local professional football club, whilst shadowing experienced members of club staff and community football coaches.<\/p>\n In just 12-16 weeks, students get free training in employment skills including; CV writing and experience, employment opportunities, interview skills, coaching skills resulting in a FA Level 1 qualification,\u00a0high quality work experience in business administration, hospitality, grounds maintenance, match day, retail and\u00a0experience of working in the sport and leisure industry.<\/p>\n
