Trainee Achieves Full Time Position With Rochdale

In football, both on and off the pitch, it is always heartwarming when a trainee makes the most of their opportunity and is rewarded with a full-time position. This is the case for Ikram Irfan at Rochdale AFC Community Trust.

After completing a 12 week Traineeship covering employability & life-skills, Ikram has joined Rochdale AFC Community Trust as a Business Administration Assistant through the Kickstart scheme.

As a member of the local community, Ikram is delighted with the chance to represent his Club Community Organisation:

“During my short time here already, I have gained invaluable first-hand experience of various jobs available at the Football Club. I will always be grateful for this opportunity.”

Ryan Bradley, Community Director at the Trust is delighted to welcome Ikram on the Kickstart scheme,

“From donning his suit in the office, to supporting soccer schools and working on the military veterans charity day, Ikram gave his all and was eager to learn.”

“Ikram really impressed us with his work ethic and his willingness to take on any task during his placement, so we are delighted to have him on board after his Traineeship.”

Ikram will complete his six month Kickstarter placement with Rochdale AFC Community Trust…and he then hopes to take on an apprenticeship.
