Job vacancy: Women’s Talent ID Project Officer
The EFL Trust is the official charity of the EFL (English Football League). The Trust uses the power of sport, in particular football, to deliver a wide range of community initiatives focusing on raising aspirations and improving the quality of life for people within the communities of the EFL’s 72 clubs.
The EFL Trust provides support, leadership, funding, structure and a collective identity to the community trusts in its network enabling a joined up approach to inspire people through powerful projects focusing on the four key themes of sport, health, education and community engagement.
EFL Trust have partnered with the FA to develop a programme which provides every talented girl in England the opportunity to access and enter into the FA Girl’s England Talent Pathway as a start of a journey to become a Lioness.
The EFL Trust in association with the FA is looking to appoint a Project Officer with extensive experience and knowledge in the area of Sports inclusion projects. The successful candidate will be passionate about girls football and its growth and development. The role will require a collaborative approach which will develop a programme that is aligned to the FA Women and Girls’ Talent ID and Management Strategy.
There is an expectation of independent as well as effective team working, an ability to generate and contribute ideas to meetings and have the discipline to see plans through to successful conclusion. Effective interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication and good presentation skills are essential for this role to ensure that key stakeholders engage effectively and support the implementation of the strategy. Additionally, you will have a flexible approach to your work with a positive, outcome focused approach to problem solving.
The role is based from home with a requirement to spend a minimum of 2 days per week at St Georges Park, the FA national football centre in Burton on Trent.
