
Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development:
The Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development identifies the type of skills and qualities that are required to work within professional football clubs community departments or national governing bodies in areas of growth such as social inclusion, community coaching and football development. On this football coaching course students learn about children and youth coaching, sports coaching, football development, social inclusion and sports management skills.
Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching and Development:
The Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching and Development allows students to gain practical experience of working within the sports coaching and development industry through placements based at an organisation such as professional sports club, sports development organisation, social enterprise, school or community organisations. Students will gain an understanding of the varied nature of sports coaching and development, from grassroots community projects that engage people to take up sport and/or physical activity to working with elite athletes who are at the top of their game.
Once you have completed your Foundation degree you can top up to a full BSC Honours Degree when you complete our Top up course:
BSc (Hons) Football Coaching, Development and Administration (Top Up):
This unique course focuses on both the football and business related knowledge needed to develop professionals for the football industry and is specifically designed for students who have already obtained a football-related Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification, the BSc (Hons) Football Coaching, Development and Administration (Top Up).
All Foundation Degree students will be given the opportunity to gain a Level 2 football coaching qualification while on the programme.
